Hanging gardens or Ferozeshah Mehta gardens is situated just opposite to the Kamala Nehru Park.

Gardens were built in the early 1880. It was built over Mumbai's main water basin to cover it from the contamaining activity of the nearby Towers of Silence. The garden offers stunning view of the sunset over the Arabian Sea.

It is perched at the top of Malabar Hill and brings you close to nature. These terraced gardens are also known as Ferozeshah Mehta Gardens.

The gardens are popular with local residents for their early morning or late evening walk.

It is built over three pools which store 30 millions gallons of water. In the mornings, it is the haunt of joggers and fitness freaks and a hideout place for young couples in the evenings.
