This museum showcases India's rich cultural heritage. It was named
after Fr. Henry Heras. The museum showcases some of his invaluable collections acquired over a period of time .He came to India in 1922. The Library of the Heras Institute, its Museum was meant to provide his students with ready reference material for their research.

Museum holds valuable and interesting artifacts not only from India but also from West Asia and may be the only Institution in India to have Mesopotamian cylindrical seals of various periods.

There are some fine pieces of Pala art, and also carved pictures of some major events of the life of the Buddha.
Interested Visitors are also provided a guided tour around the Museum.

Its opening hours is 9.00 a.m. till 4.30 p.m. on all working days.

Admission primarily to Research Scholars in Indian History and Indian Culture. Admission is free but rights of admission are reserved.
