Christmas Festival

Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ is also celebrated as one of the national festivals of India on 25th December every year.

The festival is celebrated with lot of excitement all over the world. The celebrations for Christmas continue for ten days from December 24th to January 1, the New Year day.

Prayers, plays, parties, carols and fun filled get together are a part of Christmas festivities. Besides, all this celebrations are with cutting cakes, decorating Christmas trees, exchanging cards, and gifts. Santa Claus moving in the streets distributing goodies to the children is the main attraction of the festival.

Churches are highly decorated. People visit friends and relatives on the day and participate in the masses held in churches. Children particularly enjoy the festival as they receive gifts from their favorite Santa and elders.

People of all ages look forward to Christmas holidays with lot of enthusiasm.
