As Spring approaches a riot of colors greets visitors to India. Holi known as the festival of colors is celebrated in the month of march during spring.

Hot snacks and milk- based drinks, both laced with bhang (a derivative of cannabis) are consumed with abandon in many households and community gatherings.

There is dancing, drinking gambling and visits to relatives and friends. People make merry and strengthen bonds of existing relations.
