Founded in 1918 by Shri Yogendraji, The Yoga Institute, Santacruz is the oldest organized centre of Yoga in the world.
Research has been carried out in Asthma and Bronchitis, Diabetes, Back and Joint Disorders and the most recent one Reversal of Heart Diseases.
The Yoga Institute is continuing its work quietly and sincerely. What Shri Yogendraji started when Yoga was not known has spread to all the corners of the world. They try to retain the classic spirit of Yoga.
All through the year, the Institute conducts various Courses, workshops and camps for imparting knowledge of Yoga to meet the requirements of all age groups of people and for various ailments.
These activities have different time slots and have been designed keeping in mind the busy schedules of modern living. The center also imparts training to teachers perfecting their art.
