Hard Rock Cafe

This hot and happening spot is a place which attracts the glitterati. It started with an Eric Clapton guitar (a Fender Lead II, for the gear heads in the audience).

Founded by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton, two enterprising and music- loving Americans, Hard Rock Cafe was an instant classic.

The 6,000- square- foot, 169- seat cafe features an outstanding menu, collectible merchandise and world- famous memorabilia, including items that represent contemporary stars, such as Madonna, U2 and Bruce Springsteen along side items from rock legends Elvis Presley, Led Zeppelin and the Beatles.

It serves its guests American fare with a "Mumbai touch" like Calangute prawn curry served with rice pilaf besides the usual burgers, sandwiches and salads and starters such as spring rolls.

Going by its name, music is largely of the rock genre. The cafe has two stage areas for live performances and bars on two different levels. A private section has also been created for corporate events and parties.
