Youngest of three civilian clubs, the Colaba Sailing Club was set up in 1936.

This club is regularly visited by a group of enterprising sailors from the other two clubs, who see that potential of a Port Trust shed near Sassoon Dock for the purpose of building boats and promoting interest in sailing.

It has attractive and delightful view of Bombay Harbour and its surroundings. You can go sailing over a weekend or for a period of four to five days. RBYC every year sponsors the three sailing clubs for such cruises. Members are not charged separately for taking a boat for sailing in both these activities.

The fleets of four to five shapers regularly go sailing up and down the Amba River, Dharamtar Creek and Narwal.

Entrance fees Rs 4000, Security Deposit Rs 2000, Annual Subscription Rs 700, and Contribution to Object Rs 300. Annually a member pays Rs 1000.)
